The background fixing works just fine with everything I've tried with the exception of IE. I did add a piece of javascript to make it work in IE but it seemed to have a tendency to crash the page on our machines. Why it only did this sometimes is a mystery and were it not for the fact that a version of this page will end up on Robin's site, I wouldn't have bothered with the javascript. After a lot of messing with it I have removed it.
Robin's cousin has a site that is in desperate need of help! The Original Homepage gets real scary when the code is viewed. I am in the process of Renovation using CSS etc. For the start I am keeping all the contents in roughly the same positions as on the original site. Some items have been edited to avoid repetition and aid accessibility. The code ends up much cleaner and editing the content will be possible without getting a headache!
